Local Information for Local Context

For businesses with a location dimension, including the property, travel and tourism, retail, automotive, directories, government and manufacturing sectors, showing information in a local context is critical to connecting with consumers and boosting the conversion rate of surfers to footfall and buyers. Multimap’s Local Information service is a rich source of relevant, location-specific information which informs your customers, enriches their online experience and helps them make positive browsing and buying decisions.

Local Information, or Points of Interest (POI), provides important additional information to customers and prospects, including where the nearest transport links, Wi-Fi hotspots or ATMs are, which schools and colleges are nearby, and even – in certain countries – where there are current traffic hold-ups. Multimap services include Wikipedia content, placed directly on the map, providing a virtual guide book for consumers to explore and discover.
